A picture of me and the keepers of my heart. About the piece, it was somewhat influenced by QueenOfDorks's chibis (on my part, that is, as you can see I had no one more talented than me to copy for the kitties). It was quite fun to work on, but the mixed coloring on some of the cats gave me some trouble. For some reason I still quite like Nella's (far left) coloring, hard to say why. :3 Anyway, I'll tell a bit about the cats in the picture, you can skip this if you want. Mixed-colored yellow far left: Nella aka Paavo. The baby of the group. Naïve and childish but pretty cute when you squint. Was born with some of her guts out, people told us to get her killed so she wouldn't soil the good name of the breed (they are purebred cats) but we just pushed her guts back in and kept her. Even when she's getting old I just can't stop seeing her as a kitten. Gray one: Tytti. The mother of the other three as well as some others that were given away. Most well-mannered and beautiful cat I've known, really one of the best cats ever. Mixed-colored brown sleeping: Nalle. More heavily-built than the others which makes me call her "tunkero" (she looks like something a word like that could mean). A real scaredy-cat and kind of a pest when wanting attention, but obviously I can't help but love her. Her tail really has a tuft like that at the end because of some genetic stuff.
Mixed-colored yellow far right: Pandora and Pansku. The "psycho diva", as she has been called, though she's a lot better mannered these days. Was once chosen the best Burmese cat in Finland (how Tytti managed to produce one perfect cat like this and two genetic messes I'll never know). Lives at my sister's place now, but makes my day every time I go to see her.
